View Full Version : Already built wonders randomly disappearing
I'm in game 1553 and our Stonehedge wonder just disappeared on us without loosing any battles. We weren't even in a battle to begin with.
It must be some kind of bug. Can you please look into it.

Are you sure a different civ didn't build an upgraded version? You'll lose yours if they do.
Oh yeah that might be it. I didn't see it in the wiki. :/

We're also having a problem with wonders disappearing, but then later they'll pop up in the cultural screen again for us to rebuild. According to the wiki, we shouldn't be able to rebuild, however we can. I'm glad we can get them back, but this required more great persons which cost a LOT at this stage in the game. We've rebuilt 6-8 wonders by now. We're trying to win while working around all the bugs in this game, but it's becoming very frustrating.

This is not a bug. Any wonder can be "conquered" by another nation building "a better version" of it. For every time it's built it costs 1 more Great Person, up to a maximum of 6 Great Persons. When it's built at the cost of 6 Great Persons, it can still be built by other nations, but still at the cost of 6 Great Persons. So in effect, as long as a wonder has not been obsoleted, it can be built over and over and over again.
