Yeah, it's rubbish.
Random question, and I know it's not a priority, but has the manual been updated to take into account the new changes and additions (such as the Hanse for Germany) or if not, will it?
Haha, what a fantastic mentality. It'll wane, though. Trust me.
SirMaru... you're from the Paradox forums, right? That name is familiar.
Nothing else, though? No new civs? (I wasn't expecting any, but thought I'd ask)
It does sound interesting, but I agree that £4 is a bit steep. I'll almost certainly get it, but only at a discount.
Awesome, I may try starting a new game then. Not played Civ V in a while. :)
Is there a list somewhere of what each civ and city state's starting preference is?
I was too late to sign up to the beta. :(
What's the ETA for the official release?
EDIT: Oh, sorry, I didn't know you had to enter the password before the beta would appear from the drop-down...
Oh, just noticed this. Nice, big list of changes and fixes. I am impressed. :)
Any word on a release date?
Duke Nukem Forever wins.
Terrible, terrible scenario. I loaded it up as my first BNW game, took a look around and then quit. Incredibly lazy.
Just finished d/l and loaded it up... I have to say the first thing that struck me is how absolutely appalling the new menu music is. I'm sure the game will be much improved in the many ways that...
Nice change log... and is Pitboss really out? I assumed that was vapourware. :D
I'll deffo re-d/l Civ 5 in time for BNW (pre-ordered from GMG).
I really laughed at that. :p
Khmer, Berbers, Timurids and Majapahit would be great. :)
Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité, ou la Mort!
Well, clearly Byzantium and Austria were plausible choices anyway, and both have plenty of well-known male leaders. I mean that choosing a civ because of a particular female leader, or indeed...
Choosing civs on the basis of female leaders (if it's being done) is arbitrary as ☺☺☺☺.
Moors could work I suppose, yes, though it's not an academic term (insofar as labels like Moor and Saracen have extremely broad meanings) and I wouldn't advise using it.
We seem to be carrying this over two threads, which is not necessary.
No, Morocco is a nation state in North Africa. It does not and should not include Andalusia/Iberia and any other Arab-Berber states. Are you thinking of the term 'the Maghreb'? That would be closer...
If it's a general Berber civ, then someone like Abd al-Mu'min would be good.
If it's Morocco as a nation then I have no idea, but nor can I really see the justification for them being added. That...
