International Space Station Wonder (ISS)
They should add this as a modern wonder, it could help towards a space race victory by adding production to build spaceship parts, get rid of them factories.
Or it couls even be used for a diplomatic victory by giving the builder a better relationship with the CS's.
If used correctly for the diplo victory it could be a way to lessen the richest guy wins a diplo victory. A message should also flash up warning others that X-Player has started to build the ISS.
Maybe even multiple civs can build it with a diminishing return of friendship against the CS's, so 1st builder would get say 100% increased relationships with CS's 2nd 75% 3rd 50% and so on.
What do you think?
Well I was thinking more along ION CANNON lines
but sounds cool :>
This would be more of a Manhattan_Apollo Program_Utopia projects kind than a Wonder, AFAIC.
Isn't the ISS more of a white elephant than a wonder?
The ISS in real life is the aborted attempt at multi-national space cooperation. Surprise surprise, it's not very useful or economical.
True, but were the pyramids useful or economical? Was the Eiffel Tower? Wonders are about prestige not functionality.

Why don't you just go win the game instead? The requisite techs are researched for space victory and you are still building wonders?
Put your collaborative mode on.
You've got *A* Diplomatic winning condition at the UN for votes and then you can still SS-Launch by building parts - Game over.
Now comes in the Utopia option ticked during Setup, winner is a cultural master.
I claim ISS is beyond Domination or even scoring in a limited time by 2050AD... while the Science victory can **still** be unticked for a ride of not Wonders stockpiling but humanity wide PEACE, at last.
Just imagine a somehow expanded future Era for a split second that includes such an ISS project!
I don't want to win... i want them to help out to reach a common goal by force if i have to.
I definintley like the idea of the CS relationship boost. I also think it should have a heavy maintenance cost, though.
