Gameing Scene Gone DonwHill
Hello. To moderators. This topic is truly needed. And its totally different. Dont move. It seems to me its gone unnoticed. But the gameing scene has gone downhill. And I tell you why. Any kind of business is about supply and demand. But it seems in some wierd way. Game Developers/Publishers. Went from being for the gamers. And actually being gamers. They changed to just all business. These days we just buy games on hype. Thats all. Not on features, or indepth story. Just hype.
My topic about contraversial games. I am not anti violent games. If anything. That is my huge point. We have to. Start rateing mature games R rated. We have to start putting every detail in movies. Lets look at Terantino for example. And have that kind of content in games. The sooner they do that. The sooner they make us equal with movies. The day the gameing scene gets more respect and fans. It seems all non gamers. Assume us gamers are either immature kids. Or just have no life. Gameing is a hobby like anything else. Gameing challenges your mind, entertains you.
Alot of critics complain. Its different actually doing it in game. I wont bore you with my full opinion. But for example. Here in Australia. We have Free TV, not pay TV. We have that to. But our Free TV. We have one channel. SBS. Which is like a multi langauge channel. Anyway. I can turn it over about 9.30 at night. They have a medical show. And there cutting up dead dudes, yes, real dead dudes. What if your son, daughter switched this over. They would have nightmares for life. But that is fine. They have TV ads which are very mature. But still they all come down on games.
I will tell you in point form what has to change. 1. We have to start having and rateing games R rated. Having equal content to movies. (As firstly movies have more indepth story, secondly, thats why game developers are running out of ideas and recycle games, clone. There running out of ideas in the rateing guidelines. 2. There has to be. No excuses. Has to be demo before Gold. And at earliest six months. To get feedback, even early 12 months. To get feedback, and developers can update, or change, or enhance to gamers opinion. 3. There has to be constant weekly updates. Even if its the smallest detail. Of just keeping gamers interested. on track.
In past we had demos. And thats why we had better games. At this point. I am bored. The last best games I played was Enchante Arms, Smackdown, Godfather. People laugh and say. Why do you like Tenchu z. But trust me. Out of what we have. That is the best. I am tired of recycled games. Or series slowing going down hill. Like hitman or splinter cell.
Its not about a demo. Its not about impatience. Its a matter of we want better games. More indepth. Even mature games. Until this happens. The gameing scene will always be behind every other industry.
Please stop trolling. You won't convince anyone of your ideas via the internet. But anyway, what is this a clone of? This is one of the more unique games coming out. Many of the people who make clones are just in for money (Ubisoft and EA). However, there are still developers who care about making great games. Kojima productions and Valve are two examples. I don't know too much about Starbreeze, but from what I can tell from the amount of polish put in to their games and the lack of heavy marketing shows that they are trying to make a great game.
Is there a definite argument in that fragment stew somewhere?
