Error Message (0xc000007b)
Hello. When I try to install Civ V, whether or not I choose dx9 or 10/11, it always comes up with the error message saying: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."
Before I had this problem, I had to deal with the missing d3dx9_42.dll file, which was an easy fix. Seems to be one problem after another >.>
Any help, please? Thanks, if any.
First hit on google on that error msg:
Check for virusses
If that does not turn up anything, try verifying your game files from within Steam.
I recently got the same problem (and many others from Steam.

Edit: or just right click the steam icon in your tak bar and choose the game.
Steam is a virus not a solution.
