[Multiplayer] Two seperate issues... but are they connected?
I've been playing online for a while now, with a friend, and it has worked every time so far, save two issues:
I noticed that when playing a (private) multi game with just 1 friend, at turn two, we both get a loadscreen that is the same as the loadscreen when first launching the game (leader picture with text and the unique units displayed). My first thoughts were that the game made some sort of autosave, but after a few repeations, I began to doubt this. After this loadscreen in turn 2, the player who 'joined' the hosts game had the resources on the map changed, as if the option "new seed on reloading" had been on, but is was off and had never been on with either of us.
- Why does the game 'load' anything at turn 2 without us asking for it?
- Why do I get a 'new seed' after this load, despite having that function disabled?
Another friend started playing CiV5 too and we tried hosting a (private) multi with the three of us and every time, the game freezes in turn 2, leaving at least two of us in a "please wait" state after finishing turn, and the third being unable to move his units; OR we all three get the "please wait" and nothing happens. We can all play with eachother seperately, without any difficulty but when we all three join 1 game it always 'crashes at turn 2'. As soon as one of us leaves the game, the problem is solved and we can continue play.
- Why can we play with eachother seperately and no all three at once?
- Why does this occur at turn 2, the same turn as with my first problem?
I suspect problem 1 having something to do with problem 2 here.
Can anyone please shed some light on both matters?

I also have both of the above issues, with those exact symptoms.
Though notably, issue #1 does not occur if the game has 3 human players or greater.
