Thing is I haven't seen that many Houdini users. The one's I do see are no-stun head hunters or using the nailgun/machine gun. I was using it last night with moderate success. I still have to get the hang of when to use Houdini and my timing.

Barebones, hardcore. No tonics. No Auto aim. Running it on an alt. I'm still rank 22 (rebirthed) though. Here's a couple builds.

Heh. In no way, sir. It's for improving immensely in a very short amount of time. The ability to adapt to situations by making advantages through other means. Also removed the auto aim function to improve my natural aim. Seems like it's also helping with predicting more then the aim. Hehe.
I was thinking of removing Winterblast since it was technically an offensive advantage, but figured I had already put one too many restraints already. Can't remove Aero Dash. Walking around with no mobility buffs in a full stun lobby will be the death of me. I can still barely hold a 1.4-2.0 k/d vs Noobs + a few OSK users.

I have used only one weapon, plasmid, and tonic before in a match. That is one difficult task. Not having another weapon to relay on.
I was using this. Mostly because I was bored.

Nothing else. I was in Mercury Suites when I was using it. The funny thing was I spawned mid game, right into the hot zone. I pop in and next thing I know I got 3 people coming after me. I got all of them. I think they were weak already, cause one exploded from winter blast. The funny thing was once those 3 were dead. Another 3 came in and killed me. Insanity.
That sounds like a death wish . Efficient playstyles require the use of plasmid to weapon combinations as well as the secondary for cleanups/backup. From what I've noticed the more successful playstyles run dual primary weapon/combinations that run to cater the current situation, range, opponent, etc.
I am running tonic-less because it just remains an innate advantages to the player alone. The ability to kill an opponent is still readily available. You just lack the extra innate advantages. This is comparable to an RPG where one does a playthrough with all the weapons but without the aid of increasing stat points, or movement buffs. You will rely more on stead fast thinking, exploiting weaknesses and creating an advantage during the heat of the moment. Removing an extra weapon and plasmid would be like removing the reliance of an arm when one boxes. I guess, without use of tonics would be comparable to not having the better physique.
Yeah it's pretty much a death wish. I do it mostly when I get bored or in a lobby of noobs. This way I have a personal challenge and I don't end a match in 5 minutes or less. It's hard to use a High Lander loadout. If you chose to you know that you better not jump into crowd situations. Unless you one weapons, plasmind, and tonic are. Grenade Launcher, Incinerate, and Deadly Machines. Then you just camp your hacked turret and pick off those foolish enough to come at you.
The most annoying loadout in bioshock (just my opinion)
Grenade Launcher-vanilla, velocity boost, or homing grenade (all are annoying)
Leg Up (deadly machine/speedy hacker, expert researcher, or eve saver users choice)
Why do I consider this to be the most annoying loadout in bioshock. Well for one it runs the most annoying combo's. Nailgun with bee's and Grenade Launcher with fire. Tonics are also a pair of the most annoying combo, rez and death trap. Nuff said.
Leg Up is an option as every one that I mentioned. Deadly Machines is for those who like to hack a lot and want pumped up turrets. Eve Saver for plasmid junkies. Expert Researcher for an additional damage bonus.
The attachments for the grenade launcher are individualized as well. If they chose homing both incinerate and bee's will cause me to t-bag you guaranteed (bee combo only). Velocity boost is for the noob tube marksman. Vanilla is for the nade spam elite.
The nailgun can be used with either mag size increase or damage increase. The reason I mentioned damage increase is because of the combination with insect swarm. This is a variation of my D-bag loadout. I used machine gun with mag size over nailgun. Mostly because I don't have to rev up the machine gun. I'll be using this the next time I'm on. I feel kind of evil.
You could exchange rez for anything you want. Like running speedy hacker with deadly machines, or expert researcher and eve saver.

You are missing th notion of how the loadout is used. I use ElectroBolt for rez kills and zap tap kills. I only zap if needed, like when I'm overwhelmed or have no choice but to. A lot of xboxers go for no stuns even if they have EB out. Quite a surprise, I know. Even if you have electrobolt, it doesn't mean I have to use it, kind of mentality. It's always good to have back ups. I do not need the aid for stuns to do particularly well, for the most part.
I've also switched out pierce for pure on No stunning. Depends on the ranges and positioning. I guess you could say, it's a playstyle inspired by watching all these xbox videos. Everyone is so obsessive over headshots, even if body shots would be a more ideal/efficient way to handle a certain situation.
The most common head hunter loadout that I've seen is this.
Shotgun- sawed off
Came across someone today running a damage increase crossbow and vanilla GL combo. It was a level 40. He'd hit me with the cb and them follow up with a nade. Two hit kill. Although I've run this, I use damage increase eg instead of crossbow.
Elephant Gun-damage increase
I still can get head shots or go for the one-two punch.

p.s. Unless they are no stunning. Then damage makes sense for the CB. Still doesn't for the EG though, unless they are BS failshots.
All I know is that some times, it's a body shot with the DI-CB followed up by one hit with the shotty. Two hit kill. Yet the same could be done with the damage increase elephant gun and one nade or some other weapon.

Winterblast (Any plasmid streams, really, set to winterblast usually for rez , offensive aero dash and sister carriers).
Full out no stun. The only main difference to the earlier predecessors, is that I run the elephant gun as a secondary, which makes a big difference. Basic strategy is to run this with ranges in mind. Damage bow close to mid range and I scope spawn points, opening and enemies far to very far. Works quite well since no stuns are much easier up close anyways and scoping from afar provides enough safety to allow for a stationary pose. I can also drop fast feet for slugger in the maps with more levels or corners.

once researched al you need is charged fire then 1 gl and wait 1 a 2 sec and everybody burns
I used this a CTS game with 8 lv 50's today and I got 46 kills and 29 assist
its epic it even kills EB/CB users (once you managed to research them )
havent had this much fun since a long time specially MG rapid is a great second weapon for close by fights

Looks like one of mine or InstantLoaf's loadouts. I was running something like this yesterday. Spread the GL love. CTS is the main mode to get a massive amount of kills with the grenade launcher. I've yet to get 46 kills yet but one day Max I've was around 32 or 36 can't remember.

Highly depends on the situation, usually if there are multiple people, yes, that way I can one shot kill them all. Fire can be used to bait AD users closer, as well as prolong the regeneration of health and one hit killing with the shotgun (Sawed). Maximum close range advantage with Slugger. Slugger is a kill method that has become a standalone clutch of mine. Expert researcher can be dropped in CW. Eve saver is for those who can't use their eve wisely, and are prone charging incinerate. Aero dash is mostly for positioning oneself and overall coverage of most plasmid combos. I personally do not like running Aero Dash offensively since it comes up to par with TK stun. Upon the vicinity of oil slick hazards, I set them ablaze for the occasional surprise hit markers. This loadout also excels at breaking into heavily guarded rooms as well, given you have some support to compensate for the poor range coverage. I'd like to stress the tactical aspect more then the GL.
I was using almost that exact same loadout last night, except I use fast feet instead of eve saver. (working on my eve abuse) The damage bonus through expert researcher does help. Making two indirect nades kill. A little napalm doesn't hurt (me) either. I absolutely love the boosted machine gun. Whenever I run the AK loadout I end up using tk-boosted machine more than the cb-rof.
I tend to miss sometimes with my plasmid. I've started using my plasmids as a kind of finisher. If I get to indirect hits I'll hit'm with incinerate. Quick finisher. Much like using homing nades (2x) and electro bolt. Toss in some research and bam quick kills.
A fun loadout I have tried on an alt is pretty simple, vanilla shotgun. Nothing else. XD no plasmids/tonics/other weapons. You would be surprised how much fun it is to go "hunting" hehe Or similarly using only the EG. It somewhat forces you to get better at no stun hs's lol

It's that time again. To brandish my O.P. loadouts about.
One of my friend (he's German) was running this loadout. I had to message him about it. It was awesome seeing something beside's the standard fair. He's the one who complimented my use of the GL, which surprised me in a good way.
He was owning the entire match with that. Kind of makes me want to do that on my Alt for fun. Just to do something really different.
That's similar to what going all Highlander does to me. Surviving and coming out positive in a match with "Only One". Plus it forces you to make sure each round counts. Can't waste ammo when your only using one weapon. Think I'll do that the next time I'm on.
That's practically all I need anyway. Cause that's all I use.
