    D3DFMT_A16B16G16R16F alpha blending with floating point render targets

    "Your video card does not support alpha blending with floating point render targets (D3DFMT_A16B16G16R16F), which is required to run this game. Exiting..."

    My game was running fine, until I installed XCOM: Enemy Unknown - Elite Soldier Pack purchased from stream.

    Is there a way to disable the DLC context to take it back to the original.

    another thing i noticed was installing the game from dvd it got to 84% then installed the rest online. It that normal.

    I have already Hit [Verify integrity of game cache...] I have disabled Intel Sandy Bridge-MB GT2 - Integrated Graphics Controller and reinstalled DirectX from the DVD. I still get the above error.

    Something to try
    Open base engine.ini and search/find the line that says Floatingpointrendertargets=
    If this =True change it to False
