Leaderboard Being Reset
Has any one else had their leaderboard constantly being reset on xbl when they don't play for 2 weeks or more?
I posted this 3 months ago, and 2K Elizabeth got back to me and said someone else had a similar problem but she hasn't come back to me with a solution and hasn't been responding to my emails anymore about it. 2K says Microsoft handles the leaderboards, and Microsoft says 2K does!
I spent 150-200hours getting into the top 100 of 2v2 ranked matches and it completly wiped my score out! If I play new games, they register, but if I got 2 weeks without playing it wipes it again. So I have all but stooped playing it for the last 3 months waiting for them to fix it. It all started after a patch they did (the one previous to the latest), which makes me think it is a 2K problem, not Microsoft.
With all the other problems the game has had I thought they could at least fix this by now.
I don't know about Xbl but it still happening on PSN and even if you are still playing without stopping for two weeks
I haven't read the forums for awhile, so I didn't realize the same problem was happening on PSN. It definitely seems like a 2K problem then since its also happening on XBL. Before the patch that caused the problem, there was always leaderboard glitches where I would win a game and it wouldn't register a win or loss, or I would win and it would register as a loss, etc., but since that patch it just keeps resetting everything to no games played.

I recently PM'ed 2K Elizabeth about this, and she replied only that it was a known problem.
My Xbox Live head to head rank has been reset twice already, and I play at least one head to head match per day, so it isn't due to being idle.
My stats were completely nuked around August 2008 when I was in the #1 / #2 position. There was a user who had been point pushing with two other Xbox Live accounts, so I wasn't going to get into a point war with him when he was just giving himself free wins. After about a week and a half of not playing, I was gone from the leaderboard as if I had never played. It sounds like you experienced the same issue. Rest assured, I do feel your pain.
Hopefully we will learn something about why this happens after so much time off sometime down the road. I know Elizabeth is still looking into it.
2K Elizabeth, it seems 2K and yourself have known about this problem for at least 1/2 year now! And many people are experiencing it on both XBL and PSN, and which is obviously a game software related issue, and not a Microsoft issue as you had previously told me.
Since you haven't responded to my email request for some time now, can you tell us on this thread what is being done about this issue and why over 1/2 year later it has still not been corrected?
THEMYSTIC, I can't imagine how many hours you must have spent getting to the top spot and then to have it reset!
TheMystic only took a half hour to get to the top spot.

as of now, we're not resetting the leaderboard. i am looking in to individual cases, as well, but i also cannot reset individual scores.

Well, you may not be resetting the leaderboard, but someone is. And nobody is asking in this thread to have their leaderboard scores reset, we're just wondering why some people's ratings *do* get reset.
Exactly! Which is also what myself and others have been emailing you about 2K Elizabeth.

This is without a doubt the most bug filled game I have ever played!

Are you telling me that you have absolutely no information on anything that has been done about this at all in 1/2 year! If so, then 2K obviously should fully refund anyones's purchase price who continues to have problems, and admit that the game has always been flawed and they are refusing, or unable, to fix it.
I am not even getting into all the other problems, such as every single multiplayer game I play at least one person drops out because of their connection and the game completely freezes for at least one person until they are forced to quit.
START BY FIXING THE RESETS! OR ADMIT 2K CAN'T OR WON'T FIX IT! SO WE AREN'T ALL WAITING AROUND FOR A FIX!!

Dont you see your wasting your time im sure you do realise her job is to keep customer relations. All these issuses have been going since the game first was released. This is not a new issue neither are all the others there is realistically around 50+ problems with the game. They still havnt fixed the majority i know its frusting and you just want to vent it on the forums. Dont even bother getting your hopes up for a patch to fix anything you have ever complained about. elizabeth 2K will probably post if she bothers to at all
"I just want you all to know this is the place to ask for help and list your problems and i will pass the information to the Devs thankyou this is all helping" Then she will ask you to list the problem in a certain order. lol its all pointless.
its not her fault its just the way it is, sid obviously tried to either rush the gameout or save money on beta testing. Either way its broken just try have fun with it best you can
I'm sorry you feel this way, Miz, but I'm sure given your viewpoint I'm not going to be able to convince you otherwise, about myself or the developers.
