So is Rapture Dollars the final name for the currency in Rapture? I thought the original idea was to have Adam as the main currency.
If I remember correctly Rapture had to become some sort of off-world commune & the people present are anti-Capitalists at heart? If so, then why have Dollars in the game? It just doesn't make much sense that Dollars are being used down there... who's getting the money you spend anyway?
Did they seperate Adam and Dollars because of the confusion some gamers might have? Did they simplify using this formula: DOLLARS = MONIES = BUY STUFF ? instead of ADAM = MAIN CURRENCY
Money is required anywhere there is a civilization, no matter if it's dollars or rice. Where the money goes, it probably to Andrew Ryan since he DID make Rapture. Meh, whatever.

But wasn't the original idea to have Adam as only currency?
Check out the old video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy6hWyhq_hc at about 4:58 Ken says Adam is the money in Rapture. I wonder why they changed it & seperated money + Adam...
