My scores for INTJ were: 22, 38, 12, and 33.
Although, of course, many of the questions were loaded with potential caveats. For example: I always look for opportunities? Well, No to tripping people on the sidewalk and Yes to drinking a cup of coffee. So I said No, even though it could have been Yes. Or: The scientific approach is best? Well, best in relation to what? Sex with 10 girls at once? No. In relation to cancer? Yes. So I said No since it's not the best of all things, but that's probably not what they meant. Or again: You are consistent in your habits? Well, by defintion habits are consistent. If they weren't, they wouldn't be habits. So I said Yes. But I could have said No if they meant that my habits were consistent with one another. In that case, most humans have habits which contradict one another.
It's very interesting, but I have a tough time reading sentences and questions too literally.
Getting better at Mongols. At least against one average player today. It seems to me that if Mongols get a cap, things are looking mighty pleasant. Just put everything on gold and don't worry too much about the 100 gold. Then I tend to shoot for my 5 tech if I think I can harrass my opponent with a +1 movement HA. It's hard giving that HA defense though if you're attacking a city, as a warrior or archer certainly won't keep up.
I've been using America lately, but quitting early so I don't abuse them. That sort of confuses players when you tell them you'll quit first. The last player, TwoFeetDeep, got pissed and said I was weak. In that game he attacked with an early Chinese HA, but should have realized when he was chasing my horse back to DC that it was a trap. When I sent one of my HAs to his area, he actually attacked my HA on a hill with a single legion. I had the SoC to give me a total of 2 GSs and a GB. As I was settling my 4th city for what would be my CoR city, I got CoL from a hut. Hmmmm... How would that have turned out: America with CoR and two GSes and early CoL???
I'm pretty sure this post sums up Zef's personality much better than any numerical value could ever show.

stuck in a frustrating game at the moment against un1ba113r. my greeks vs his chinese and we were having a competitive game. he's up 10-8 in tech, but i'm expanding out of 3 cities and growing athens fast. i double move an island city and kill his archer, then he pauses it. i just don't understand what motivates some people. is that really what you enjoy out of gaming? i re-paused him so we are locked in a battle of attrition. i have lots to do so its a good thing. off to the gym. enjoy it uni (i wonder what happened to the other ball?)
the game started off fun, with a zulu warrior showing up on the hill above the barb across the river from athens. if i lose that barb i am in for a slow zulu death. i attack.5-.5, win and have a vet WA next turn. i kill his warrior, steal a caravan with another warrior, and get to listen to him cry like a baby before quitting. now you know how you frustrate the rest of us zulu lover.
That is not how it works.

That kinda sounds like a FFA game I had yesterday. My aztecs vs human zulu, and 2 human egyptians.
I moved my settler 1 square to the left and got a balanced spot with oxen as one of the grasslands. First barb gave me HBR, 2nd one a galley. after taking the first barb it shows me Zimbawae which is like 5 squares west of Tenochitlan. I end up camping all Zulu trees, causing him to cry like a baby over the mike "get off my trees! leave me alone blah blah blah". The whole time I'm telling him....you shouldn't have played with the zulu, now you know how others feel. He killed 2 of my warriors but I kept sending them his way until I had a Warrior army attacking from a hill and still had his trees camped. He was dead by 2700.
iv been having some epic games with a dude called CIVDUP, his english vs my mongols, the game started quite slow for me as i hammered out a warrior an attempted 2 take moscow but lost 1.5-1.5, so i painfully hammer a warrior army and eventually take it out (2500) luckily my vet warrior killed an incoming english archer to establish a physcohological choke point. now all this has been real slow an im on 1 tech to his 7 ,i wobble up 2 COL and attempt a massive city spam ,i teched demo as my 6th tech(?) noticing that mr CIVDUP had 19! biggest backfill iv eva had in rank game, all the way to 17!my first great person was thankfully a scientist which i used for indust, he gets the ark ,KT an atlantis and about 4 or five GPs,(i get 1 more humanitirium) and he has corp, i sail off with my fastest cruiser and 3 knight armies and grab 2 island cities ,stealing metalurgy and corp(ugh! 1 turn before i build oxford!) then the english tanks start chewing through my mainland cities and im 4 turns from combustion, eventually iv got tanks flying back at him and pushing the red mist back and build leonardos and i think right here is we he got the willies (unneccessarily)only had 2 knight armies 2 upgrade. my blitz knight army was injured when it upgraded 2 tank and tho it looked healthy it was seriously ill, had an attack value off 0! he quits when his single bomber loses to my tank army, i think he underestimated the mongol might, as he put no pressure on me early game and probly enjoyed geting all the first 2 techs, this is the second game weve played this week which has had monster tank battles. fun

Yeah that will happen every single time you have an injured unit upgrade into one of those auto heal units like a tank or artillery. You just let it heal and the next turn it will go back to it's normal attack strength although there is usually a high chance that it gets a GG when it wins a battle at 0.
I hate to complain about freezers, but why is it when I have some free time and play a civ rev session people decide to freeze me.3 out of my last 5 games today ended this way, how pathetic.I don't care about rank/points, I just wan't a fair game even if I get my butt kicked, is that to hard to ask for?
I played his Aztecs today. I was Egypt with CoR, so it was really no contest. He played on anyway. He was really good at picking up artifacts, just as in your game. He must like those early galleys.

I just played a funny game against MR ELP lol, I counted him hitting pause, he hit pause 18 times, but on the 18th time he froze the game up himself.I just thought that was pretty funny.A barb glitch/city collapser freezing himself haha.
Gotta see the funny side right.
I decided to play 1 game of ranked tonight. Against Uaintcrookedson or something. He wasnt doing anything. Sometimes he would start the time then not end his turn.
I told him I would wait it out if he froze it. He typed like 5 lines of text swearing at me for taking too long at the start. Which is funny b/c I got a walk in at 3500. Hmmm....
This is why I don't play ranked.
BTW, by far the best way to piss off a freezer is to freeze him. Like they think it takes some sort of skill to pull off.
Since last being in the top 10, my frosting account has dropped pretty far to around #750! Haha! That puts both accounts below #700 now. Lost a few today. In the last one I move my Greeks away from the middle, thinking I'd try something different, and sure enough as soon as I settled the Aztec pops up that turn a couple tiles away. I had no gold, so I quit. So many games start with quick encounters in the age of settler movement, so that's obviously something that just has to be delt with...
More crazy bad luck. Greeks again, against another Aztec. Move settler. See Arabs to my east for possible walk-in. Move warrior #1 between hut and village. Take hut for vet status. Arab warrior enters tile adjacent to my vet warrior, to the east. I'm about to attack, but notice a barb entered a forest tile from the village to my west. So I attacke the barb 1.5-1, I think in 3500, and lose (if I hadn't attacked the barb would have plundered Athens). As the barb is now abutting Athens and I have no gold, I quit!! Too funny...
got 1 game in yesterday against some noobs. the american was running the clock all the way down, then quit, leaving a gs in dc. i got 50 gold for peace so i'm guessing he was the mystery civ that took 7 cities. my greek warrior was stalking the spanish settler, who settled and promptly traded nav for writing. he quit when he saw me, but the ai got a warrior before i walked in. i took it with a vet WA but only got writing. i then proceeded over to paris and took it out with my HA and WA, stealing his GA 1st. i got march for the WA and moved my procession up to dc. meanwhile china was teching well ahead. i knew it was my game to win when i came up on his backside and found bejjing with the 2 gp's from the school settled there. i had saved a spy from a hut (for dc) and stole a builder from him. i know you guys would never settle gp's, but if you did wouldn't you protect them with a spy? its like we're turning the clock back to 2008. i took dc and waited for his next noob move, which was to drop off an undefended CA. he came back a few turns later with a CA/AA combo. my blitz horses lost 9-6 to his archers, my kt knight finished them, then my WA lost 4.5-3 to his CA. he got blitz and almost had dc, but the kt knight came thru again, knocking them out. i have had much better luck with that thing lately, being careful not to match it up with single archers in cities. so we were still pretty even in tech, but i had continued to expand and really took off with a few cheap libraries. he quit after i gs'd indust. this guy started with nav, had republic while i was still at 2 techs, and still never managed to crush me. i wanted to tell him he should have been settling 4 pop whale cities, then building 20 hammer libraries, but i don't want to help out any power civ users anymore.
It's not bad luck when you quit the game before you even give your opponent an opportunity to show you he has no idea how to play the game.

I need to start saving my spies like you do. That was smart. I always exchange them for gold, but why not save them if there are possible steals like that!?

I like using the aztecs, for a few reasons auto heal being one of them, when you have yourself and 3 others on the map going for quick gold can knock 1 or 2 opponents out pretty quick with a HA.Also grabbing that lonely AI cap is pretty handy if you can get it first.

He could of won the game early in the Bc,s as he found KT, and nearly took one of my two cities, but some how my archer won a stupid battle while sonic was attacking on a hill with his galleon in support, he took out 3 archers and on his fourth attempt he lost to a 9 to 4 battle. That would of been a game decider but I slowed him down enough as my HA was one turn away.
We both wen't into expansion mode, I had a 10 tech lead and started to play really lazy, and he was expanding more and caught up to me tech wise.
I got to industrialization first, built oxford, but he didn't quit and had some good defensive skills and held on to one of his cities that I was attacking with two bombers armies, he got flight 10 turns later and killed my bomber armies so I changed back to democracy and being china with about 15 cities just out teched him and he soon quit.GG sonic.
Note to self, I don't think this was a game to be proud of since I was china, I just wanted some revenge and not be on the receiving end of sonics chinese for a change.Sonic did play a GG though from an island start.
WHERES MORTE AT WHEN I NEED HIM?
sorry for the caps but i think i cant lose right now. skipped school today and ran off some civ games. first game my rome vs aztecs. move 1 turn, find hut to show 7cog. picked up 25 gold too. run back to that coast, settler 3800 and rush warrior which finds barb for 40 gold. rush galley and pick up 200g in 3400. walkin on moscow at 3200. a aztec HA died to my LA after retreating when seeing single archer. 9v6 mabey? but rushed oxford for bombers at 800BC. think my new personal record. had 2 scientists from monachy and invention.
next game my romans v romans. we both played passive. i started on huge island with 3 barbs. got cats together and took moscow again but they died to his counter knight attack later. he GS'ed indust the turn after i did. i build east india and oxford. he comes at me with 10 KA from Leos. he had massive production city. 10pop when he built hanging gardens.... pumped out wonders but my bombers killed his knights after losing 6 cities. brought city count pretty even. i research tanks after he GS's flight. and when my 2 TA's took his monster prod. city he quit.
next game my rome vs aztecs. i find him 6 tiles away with warrior but hes working ballanced on 2 pop. rushes a warrior when i walk next to his city. i walk away and he moves out, letting my horse walk in next turn.
next game i get horses out again. hes french and goes with bronze instead. i pull the 9-15 upset and he quits.
im not bragging about beating ppl who work balanced, or saying that im the best cause i had 200g before other player had any, ppl just always talk about bad streaks so i thought i would report a good one!
Sounds like a good run Mike! 800bc is pretty spectacular! Anytime you get Bombers prior to 6lbs 10oz baby jesus being born is a good game, but 800 years before is great!
Still looking for that rematch with you, but I think I'll wait till you cool off a bit!
im about to just use warriors and attack 1 v 12... im pretty sure i could win it!!!
today i havent lost one advantage and won 12 v 15. 6 v 6, tons of 6 v 5s. just every battle i win and every artifacts is mine! only bad thing today has been that ive consistently gotten 2 GA from SoC
You should get your tourney games in while you've got some mojo left!!

1. This was the ranked one. My rolled Spain, he had the Aztecs. I started near the middle, so I decided to move SW. Saw England's borders, settled in a 1 dye-2 forest spot, walked in on England and got Monarchy.
Decide to get HBR. Move my warrior East and find that I'm also sharing a pennisulsa with Russia.
Get the 1st Horsearmy out and start checking out the area I had started.
Chug E has taken over China at that point. I form another HA and steer it towards Russia.
My first HA spot's Chug's HA two spaces away. I'm on a hill. Next turn, my cursor starts on the warrior. Crap. By the time I move the cursor, he's engaged in diplomacy and war and I lose the HA. I race my other HA back towards Madrid, meet up with him and lose the 6-6 battle.
To address a comment he posted: yeah, an archer army may have worked better in that case, but I figured with a good start horses were more viable. I didn't want to give you all that map. There wasn't much room for me to expand, though I supposed with Spain I could have hit the islands.
2. Player matches now. We went Mongol-Mongol. Move settler NW, settle in a 2-forest 2-grass spot passing a few barbs in the process. Make a warrior to take out the barb. After this, I notice that Chug settled in my original starting spot, and his city is vacant. I form a warrior army to try to go after him.
What I didn't look for is that he got HBR from a hut.
My WA meets his lone Keshik. I move to attack it but he's quicker and just goes around it. Takes out my barb city and wins 2-1.5 against the warrior in my cap.
3. Probably the best game of the four. I'm India, he's Egypt with Hanging Gardens.
I move NW and settle near Greece and get the walk-in. I switch to Demo and reseach HBR. A turn later, he takes Rome.
I move my warrior north up some hills and spot his HorseArmy, about 3 turns or so from Delhi and Athens. At this time, I have a horseman out and attack a barb. Take it out, and it reveals where Thebes is, and it's accessable (we both settled on a lake).
I move my HA towards Thebes, while trying to block him from going to me with pike's.
I get Thebes on a walkin, thinking the game is over, but I forgot he had Rome. oops!
I move my HA in position to kill his (don't have enough gold to rush a pike army), which is dumb because he'd see it coming, when he uses another HA to take back Thebes, so I just reattacked Thebes and took it back.
I'm going to guess Rome was very close by and he had no units because he quit, which I thought was a mistake because I didn't think I could hold off his horse's very long.
Continued on next post....
Final game: I'm Russia and he's France. Local map reveals one barb to the ESE. I decide to move W, then S. Get 2 naming tiles and find the Aztecs. Get lucky in that it was empty and walk in.
Researched HRB (also sold it to Egypt AI) and formed an army, and saw that he settled Paris in my original starting spot. He realized it also. His warrior is taken out and that's that. Rather bad luck for him on that one.
It's funny, because because I maybe have had 1 or 2 games like that against everybody else (i.e. quick games that have near equal forces), and between him and I few games I have against Thrasher a couple weeks ago, I had 5.
I've had a good run lately. I'v been beating liam and sniper kill in ffa and liam quite a few times in h2h. Also a very long perfect run with the zulu in ranked - yeah i know it is like shooting fish in a barrel ...
Sounds like a fun game for sure. Did Chug E not request peace? You mentioned you went into Demo and then it seemed like it didn't take too long for you to take Thebes. Usually the problem, as you know, with going to Demo so quickly is that you have a hard time sneaking up on someone (as you did with the walk-in) if you have to go back into despotism. So I'm guessing he didn't ask for peace, in which case that would have been a good tactic on his part.

even though it doesn't belong in this thread: but these personality tests don't mean much. firstly, how could you ever think you could be able to classify humans by such superficial traits? then, all of these questions can be answered differently, depending on what context you imagine. is death for you of relative or absolute importance? well, wtf. that goes for all questions, some more clearly than for others. then, everybody seems to take pride to be classified as the type that supposedly occurs at a rate of 1% in the population. but 50% of those that take the test are INTJs, "masterminds". ridiculous.

so what does this tell me about myself? that now i'm an ENTJ but if i answered one question differently, i'd be an INTJ? utterly useless and only serves to satisfy our insecurities.
I switched out after I researched HBR and saw a German AI caravan. I can't remember if I saw him the same turn that I kidnapped the caravan or the next, but anyways I was back as a despot when I saw him.
