The first time I played Bioshock, I ripped those little Frankenstiens apart like there was no tomorrow. Didn't feel bad about it until I got to Tannenbaum's little sister sanctuary. Felt worse when I saw the "bad" ending and the brutal way the little girls get treated.
That was back in '07 and I've been a "Sister Savior" ever since. Probably played it through close to 50 times and know the "Rescue" cut-scene like the back of my hand. So I'm rushing through another round of Bio and it's Big Daddy down and then my ears perk up and I start paying close attention.
Something looks weird.
It doesn't take me long to realize I must've squeezed the "Harvest" button. I cringe, but I pay close attention because I haven't seen this cut-scene in years.
Has anybody noticed that the animation is different? When you prepare to "Harvest" a L.S., she looks different. Less human. More monstrous. The mouth freakishly large and distorted.
What is the general conscensus [sp] on harvesting, anyway? To me it looks like Jack must jam his fist and forearm down their throats and rip the slug out of their abdominal tract.
