How to: Enable Walking & Fix WS FOV in BioShock 2 (PC)
in Windows, type %AppData% into the run dialog box (Winkey + R), then navigate to and open:
To Fix the FOV for Widescreen:
go to the [Default] section and bind an unused key to "SetFOV 90" without quotes. hit that key ingame to change the FOV. it holds between saves, so you shouldn't have to do it more than once.
To Reset FOV to Default
go to the [Default] section and bind an unused key to "ResetFOV" without quotes.
To Enable Walking:
go to the [Default] section and bind whatever key you want to "Walking" without the quotes.
To Make the Walk Button a Toggle:
find the line "Aliases=(Command="Button bRun",Alias=Walking)" under [Engine.Input] and change it to "Aliases=(Command="Toggle bRun",Alias=Walking)"

Thanks. This game is the first i've played on the PC which was making me dizzy.
Is the field of view off in the X360 version as well? I feel like everything is too zoomed in. I'm playing on a large HD tv using a X360.
At first, it was making me dizzy too... I set the mouse sensitivity all the way down, thinking to myself, oh boy, I'm going to need to go into the negatives on the mouse sensitivity, or I'll get whiplash!
I ended up getting used to it pretty quickly, but I might think about trying some different FOVs to see if I think it looks better. I'd be interested to see a handy FOV guide showing a screenshot at different FOVs... if one person could do it and post it, it'd save everyone trying out a lot.

I read on another forum that there are issues with the forced FOV fix. It was stated that there are minor issues involving some weapons clipping off of the screen and not being seated properly. Can anyone confirm this or any issues with this fix?

Okay since someone asked for it I compiled four screenshots at 1920x1200 at four different FoV.
A field of view of 75:
A field of view of 80:
A field of view of 90:
A field of view of 100:
I also tried running around and seeing if there was any issue but I saw none with any of them with the different weapons. Mildly tested so to speak.
OP: You could maybe add the "InjectBioAmmo" to the first post if people want a way to use their Eve Hypo before the meter goes out.

I figured out how to make zoom/aim a "hold button" function.
In the same User.ini file mentioned above under [Default] Heading, look for the key that has the word "ZoomCycle" attached to it (T by default).
Should look like this:
Change it to this:
T=ZoomCycle | onRelease ZoomCycle
Your fix for widescreen is okay, but the FOV likes to reset itself from time to time, after cutscenes and whatnot. A better solution is to set "MoveForward | SetFOV 90" for whatever key you use to walk forward in user.ini. Now the FOV should set itself back automatically whenever you move!

Using zoom/aim resets FoV as well.
The move forward/FoV combo is a good solution.
