Civ V on Mac?
I was just wondering if Civ 5 will be released on Mac? Were the previous Civ games released on Mac? I was introduced to Civ through Civ Rev on the 360 and love it, I hear it's much better on "PC".
I own a Mac Pro so that's what I would buy it for.. As much as I love the game, I don't think I'd buy a PC just to play it.
My mum does own a fairly new Acer (Aspire?) 5738ZG with a GEFORCE G105M 512 graphics card, I have no idea if that would be powerful enough to play it on.
Yes I know of atleast Civ 3 and 4 being released on Mac.
Im pretty sure 2K would definitely open up to the Mac market in the future, but the problem is always translating the code between PC to Mac. I'm not sure if they've done it for Civ IV, but if they have then it should def not be an issue.
Actually many games are programed on mac's and then ported to windows.
They have windows Emulators for mac. So it should not be hard to play.
Oh please, yes, a native Mac version would be great !!!

Now.. mac users can also install windows in a partition then have the dual boot options available. that's a much safer way to play the game rather than using an emulator. the good news is that the hardware is more stable, so windows runs a bit better on the mac.
