Setup/Uninstall runs on vista startup
An unusual thing this. I took the Bioshock2 CD out to install some new drivers. When I returned the CD to play the game again, it autoran the setup/install program. The first time I clicked cancel and did a reboot finish the driver install. The second time I let the program do it's stuff and it uninstalled BS2. Now, each time I boot up my PC, it runs the uninstall program.
I'm running Windows Vista, BS2 is fully updated... any thoughts?
I just rebooted to check if I wasn't just imagining this problem. It did it again and I uninstalled BS2, I'll reinstall again if I get any advice here.
The game played fine too. The setup program running on Vista startup everytime is gonna be a bit of pain in the ass though.
I tried to reinstall but it failed towards the end "Activating Bioshock 2 Multiplayer"
EDIT: I need to find out what exactly isn't working and why as I've posted lots of issues one after the other yet. The single player game seems to work. I'll pin down what the problem is exactly and repost then so we stand a better chance at resolving the issue/s.

Sounds like the Installshield installer is corrupt.
Uninstall the game completely, then manually delete any left over Bioshock 2 files and folders.
I don't have the game installed currently, but somewhere, usually in Common Files, is the Installshield installer for the game.
If you can find it, then delete it.
Install the game, then check your startup folder and msconfig and make sure nothing related to Bioshock 2 or an uninstaller is listed.
A poor driver installation programe left E:\setup.exe in the start up files. I removed it using msconfig and regedit. Not a Bioshock2 problem at all. Just me being stupid.
