Bioshock, destined to be the finest game of the 2000's?
It hard to say, but looking back, the first two System Shocks had some of the most deeply immersive, fascinating, exciting and terrifying gameplay and story elements. In fact they are my favorite PC games of all time, up there with Starcraft. Regardless, their is a strong likihood that due to exceptional qualities of this game, that it may very well be the very best of its class for this console generation, and on the PC. However it may also be the very best of the first decade of the new millenium. It would be highly doubtful that any game released in the first decade of the 2000's could best Bioshock (except Starcraft II, but they are too different to compare).
What is the general consensus, is this game really going to go down in history as one of the all time greats, a destined classic that will be referenced and deeply respected decades from now?
Is the anticipation of waiting for this game killing you?
