No problem! If anyone spots any issues with this let me know. All you have to do is press "Reply with Quote" and then copy the post into wherever you're posting.

I'd also like this thread to be a general discussion thread on how people make their move-sets, why they decide to put certain moves where they do and where the research comes from, things like that.

I'm wondering would movesets for NPCs be ok to include? Stuff Like Dibiase, Lawler, Rosa Mendes, Brisco, Albert, Lana, Michael Hayes, Pat Patterson.

I know they probably won't be unlockable on console but I know they are going to be unlocked Day 1 or 2 on PC so it'd be nice for them to actually have movesets even if they are super basic.

I been watching u on YouTube and had wanted to know what u think about 2k adding posture/walk styles and alt taunts by maybe holding L1 or R1 + taunt button and maybe a more free flowing fighting environment making the arena more of a weapon as on tv

i sent Vore2k a link to my "moveset database....wiki...bible....archive" (or whatever ppl would call it)
Its what i've been using to create movesets for the last couple years
it has the moveset notes i took while watching:

    211 episodes of RAW

    206 episodes of Smackdown

    172 episodes of Superstars

    177 episodes of Main Event

    188 episodes of TNA Impact

    167 episodes of NXT

    66 episodes of ROH tv

    54 episodes of Lucha Underground

17 episodes of Saturday Morning Slam

4 episodes of Tribute to the Troops

    4 network specials

    7 NXT Takeovers

    7 ROH ppvs

    23 TNA ppvs

    48 WWE ppvs

so fingers crossed they see the value in it. I think it will help the series so much

A couple lil moveset gripes of mine.

The DLC "Springboard Forearm" that came with Buddy Murphy.......isn't his move. It was actually his tag partner Wesley Blake that does that move.

For reference, i checked my "moveset database". And Blake (NOT Murphy) did the move on these episodes of NXT:

    10/23/14
    1/22/15
    3/18/15
    ---------------------

another gripe is that everyone has Suplex 6 and Scoop Slam 5 as default (diagonal direction) grapple moves. Suplex 6 is fine because its the most normal generic looking suplex.

But Scoop Slam 5 isn't the most commonly (generic) looking Scoop Slam. Scoop Slam 8 is actually the kind of scoop slam that most ppl do. Scoop Slam 5 is the kind of body slam ppl did back in the 80s.....not now

Zeokage, are you going to move Age Of Sandow's (https://forums.2k.com/showthread.php...dow-s-Movesets) and Righteous's (https://forums.2k.com/showthread.php...Moveset-Temple) Moveset Threads here?

Those threads are not compatible with the format requested by Vore for this subforum, plus the move-sets wouldn't have all the hashtags requested, so no.

I got you beat. I've been watching WWE since I attended WrestleMania III; also I've seen every single RAW, SmackDown, Sunday Night Heat, Velocity, Superstars, etc. Anything from WrestleMania III forward on WWE's side I've seen with the ONLY exception being NXT. Sadly I've yet to see an NXT show. Not bragging but just wanted to say I got ya beat on the WWE side of things. LOL

Kody I wasn't trying to be mean or anything of that nature at all. It is cool that you do things like that. It shows how big a fan you are. I did the same thing with themes and attires. I have just about every WWE theme there is and have at least a photo of every attire someone has ever worn. My favorites are Masked Undertaker, Reversed attire Kane and Fake Diesel. Don't know why but those pictures I have are my favorites.

well i mostly deal in current stars.....which jericho is, but only part time....so his file is towards the smaller end. His file is 13kb compared to the largest file in my current wwe section which is Cesaro @ 42kb.

too many moves for me to count individually in the file. If i had to guess i'd say 400? maybe 500. You also have to factor in that im not just archiving moves. I am keeping track of ring in/ring out.....taunts....reversals...etc. Everything i need to create a complete moveset for a wrestling game.

I have more move sets to upload but I cannot since all my slots are full. Is there a way to delete an old set because I try to upload over an existing one but cannot. I am currently on Gold status so I have to wait a tad to get to the last status on CC. Anyway to upload over top of another older set? I want to upload the other 2 Undertaker movesets I have. Because the ABA one is an extension of the '99 one and the in-game one is a hybrid mix of the other two.

One huge issue w/ the less than stellar default movesets.......is that those edits don't carry over to Showcase mode.

I understand why, because you have to perform certain actions as part of the matches.

But that is where the movesets stick out like a sore thumb. When my retro Hunter Hearst Helmsley is doing his current Spinebuster w/ the current taunt too. Breaks any immersion i had of being the Connecticut snob.

I can't see why not. Just put an indication of what time period of their career you are covering.

So I've decided to take a stab at this. Do we have to create this in written format or can I just use my videos? It's the exact same thing, and shows everything. I'm not sure I have the time to type out written formulas for everyone, and don't see how it would be a problem to show videos.

It depends if it would appear to be advertising your channel. I'd wait for Vore to answer before posting them.

    K. Not really interested in advertising myself at this point, and have no youtube partnership. But I can see where there's a gray area. I'll wait for Vore to respond.

Just incase 2K needed any further convincing on why they should use my movesets. To demostrate there authenticity/accuracy, I did a complete breakdown of the Seth Rollins moveset i just posted.

    which can be found here:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/zp7qcftxvl...kdown.txt?dl=0

I work very hard on maintaining the Moveset Database [the archive where i store movelists for every wrestler/show]. And this is the fruits of my labor. This is where it all pays off. It allows me to fix the in-game movesets and make them as accurate as possible.

It's still the 30th where their offices are at this very moment, it just depends at what time they stop. That said, I am hoping the forum stays open so we can share our thoughts and keep bringing move-sets in for our own use in the future. That includes move-sets from non-WWE characters as well.

    AWESOME.

Because I have a very special moveset I have been working on that I can't wait to release. Which is why people have not heard from me in a bit.

Hopefully the thread stays open so I can post it.

^Hope it's someone new. The more we create, the better overall the game gets.

Anyway, I think I'm done here. All my stuff is posted and don't be doing anymore as I'm back to doing Indy sets again. Hope to see some improved sets next year!

I will be releasing TWO movesets very soon.

I could not be more excited to share these two very special movesets with the community.

I do hope you guys find them as authentic as my previous two movesets.

I don't know if they can reach the popularity of my Shinsuke Nakamura moveset, but I do hope they bring considerable joy to you all.
