With greats like Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, etc. retired from the NFL can we expect to see another All Pro Football game for the 10-year anniversary?

No, we absolutely cannot expect to see this. A possible sequel to the video game debut of such legends as Joe Jacoby and Al Del Greco failed to sufficiently get enough of the populous dripping wet in 2008--a few of us fanboys notwithstanding--that hope for any future "legends" football game from 2k is effectively: dead. As long as EA has a monopoly on the football gaming world we aren't getting anything. 2k8 was a great game but in the grand scheme of things, all of it considered, it was essentially a failed experiment.

Welcome to the 2k football forums, take this bread and eat from it.

And besides, who in their right mind would want to play with these OGs when you can mash out on your ☺☺☺☺boyjamhotpowergatoradestick in Madden 05 roster updated for 2018?

Pessimistically, possibly never. At best, we don't know.

EA, and you know the story and why, first purchased exclusive rights in 04/05. When the five year contract ended they renewed their rights and now the details on the deal are quite vague. A few years ago, someone with knowledge of the situation said Madden would hold exclusivity for a "few more years" (that's seriously a direct quote, most likely originating from Roger Goodell's own personal greasy ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺). Since nobody knows the terms of the contract the only thing we can say, definitively, is that EA still holds the rights right now, today, and will likely extend their exclusivity when the contract is up--whenever that is.
