Is Take-Two hinting at a new BioShock game?

"In addition to Red Dead Redemption 2, Take-Two will be launching a new entry in one of 2K's major franchises in its next fiscal year.
The publisher made the comments in its earning reports when discussing what to expect from the company moving forward.
'Looking ahead, we expect fiscal 2019 to be a record year for Net Bookings and net cash provided by operating activities led by the upcoming launches of Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 and a highly anticipated new title from one of 2K’s biggest franchises,' Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said in a statement as part of the earnings report.

That fiscal year '19 would fall between April 1, 2018 and March 31, 2019.
Zelnick doesn't say which franchise that could be, but 2K only has so many currently active major franchises we haven't recently seen. Borderlands 3 has long been expected, and earlier this year Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford said 90 percent of the studio is working on a game 'most of you guys want us to be working on.' That would almost certainly be a new, proper Borderlands adventure.
Another 2K series Zelnick could be referencing is BioShock, which is getting a special collectors edition this month to celebrate the original game's 10th anniversary."

Seems possible, but will that be enough time to get a (good) BioShock game out? BS2 had more than a few problems because of the short time frame for development and it limited what the dev's could do (many wanted to make a new City rather than go back to Rapture). sm

I highly doubt it is a new Bioshock game. The only studio that is "free" right now is Hangar 13, and they've only just come off the DLC cycle for Mafia III. Pitchford pretty much stated outright at PAX West this year that Borderlands 3 is in the works and they are just waiting for an announcement.
